The company was founded under the name LAFER SAS, from an idea of the current ownership.
Located in Inveruno (MI), in 1985 the company was known for the construction of iron and stainless steel gates and fences as well as handcrafted products. Over the years, thanks to the results obtained from the constant tenacious work, the company has pursued a new growth project and a radical renewal.
The company specializes in the construction of washing systems with conveyors or robotic transporters, in addition to other equipment including: solvent degreasers, drying systems, ultrasonic, water and detergent or solvent washing machines.
In 1999 TECNOLAFER srl was established with headquarters in Ossona (MI). The continuous partnership consolidation with long-standing Customers let the management accomplish an ambitious growth project to establish as one of the most technologically advanced companies in the metal sheet machining and in the carbon steel and stainless steel construction sectors.
In 2008, the new headquarters in Casorezzo (MI) called PLANT 1 was inaugurated in addition to the operational headquarters in Ossona (MI). The experience gained in various kinds of metal constructions, the constant quest for new technical and manufacturing solutions and the continuous staff training, lead Tecnolafer to offer qualitative and cutting-edge solutions to the Italian and foreign market, covering the most diverse sectors.
In 2012, the company obtained the EN ISO 9001 Certification, which guarantees customers optimal handling of their orders and compliance with their products and services requirements.
The company obtained the EN ISO 3834-2 Welding Certification thanks to its experience and knowledge gained in the welding field. In addition to this, is the EN 15085-2 CL2 Certification for welding railway vehicles and their components.
These achievements have improved the business which has grown in a continuous evolutionary trend, proposing to the market integrated offers, made up of complete and reliable services, as well as production processes under control.
In the same year, Tecnolafer was equipped with a TRUMPF laser cutting and punching combined machine with automatic loading and unloading with a 3000x1500 working range and a cutting thickness of up to 6 mm on carbon steel and 5 mm on stainless steel.
