Tecnolafer was involved in the SKYWAY Mont Blanc project, a landmark in the panorama of Alpine cable transport infrastructure, for the realisation of stainless steel parapets for stairs and terraces at Punta Helbronner (3,466m).

The Client required adequate project development capabilities with delivery and installation directly on site, high expertise in stainless steel processing and its surface treatment.
This project has allowed Tecnolafer to enrich its experience in the construction of structural carpentry where EN 1090 certification is required.

Tecnolafer's ability and decades of experience acquired in the construction and architectural sector were fundamental to the success of the project, starting from an initial phase of study and development of drawings , followed by a more operational phase of processing and installation of the parapets on site .

The carpentry was built in accordance with the EN 1090-2 standard in class EXC2 , the standard that internationally regulates the construction of steel structural components.

The installation of the parapets at 3,466 metres above sea level was carried out directly by Tecnolafer with its specialised personnel, under the supervision of the Client.

This project has allowed TECNOLAFER to enrich its curriculum as for the realisation of structural steelwork by including in its vendor list an important reference at international level.
